Questions on passages

1) ``I became a heavy drinker, and my need for alcohol soon grew into a terrible disease´´(16-17)

Think of a reasons why a person can become a hevy drinker

2) ``I stopped taking care of them (the animals) and sometime I was even cruel to them. But I was never cruel with Pluto´´ (17)

Why fo you think the man behaves differently towards Pluto? Does the cat have something different from the rest of the animals or the wife? Is it special for some reason? Does it represent something?

3) ``There is smothing strange about the human heart? We humans sems to like hurting each other. Haven't we all, a hundred times, done something stupid or evil just becaise we know we should not do it? (18)

Do you agree? Can you empathize (understand, feel sorry for) the narrator?

1) I think, a person can become a heavy drinker, just because they feel sorry for something, or he did something. But somethimes they only drink becouse they don't see the possitive side of their lifes. And when you start to drink, it's impossible to stop.

2) In my opinion, he was nice with Pluto because was special. He was beautiful and clever and very clever because he knew when the narratos was drunk. He was always  kind with him.

3) I really agree with the narrator. And I feel a little bit sorry for him, as he said ``We have all done something stupid or evil´´. Everyone can do things wrong, ust because of anything.

The Story of my Life (Anne Frank)

March, 11th 1916

      Well, I have found this diary where books are burnt. It's not so bad, but it is everything. My name is Rial Tonkers and I'm one of the only jewish survivors. I'm so scared if anyone finds me. Because I'm only 10 years old and I just can't think about what is going on outside, my mother died when I was 4, a mad man murdered her, I'm with my father, I think so, he told me "I will be back again, don't worry" 2 months ago. Then, I'm alone with my cat called Lucifer, my only company and the diary.
      It's difficult for me to live on top of a church where nobody can see us, I think. Well it's late now, I only have 2 hours to sleep because if not hey will see us. Tomorrow I hope I find a friendly family who will offer us to stay in their house. My life is so strange, I have to be nice to everyone, I promised that to my mother. Bye, tomorrow, tomorrow I don't really know if everything will change or not. Future is dangerous and it is scary. If tomorrow I die and someone finds this, remember me. Goodbye.

"Marionetts, Inc", Ray Bradbury

What is about?

It's about a man called Brailing who has a friend called Smith,and they had some preoblem whit their wifes. Brailing had a dream that was travel to Rio,but her wife was very controller. So he had an idea to buy a marionette(a machine, colne). Smith who was a very good friend of Brailing wanted a marionette too, he wanted to be free of his wife , he was very tendor and he was tired. The same night Smith went to Brailings house and saw the marionette, he listened in the inside of him and he heard "tick,tcik,tick,tick" like a machine. When Smith went to hish house to look for the money and when h was searching for the money, something was missing, he tried to wake up his wfe, but when he listened the inside he heard "tick,tick,tick,tick,tik" she was a robot. On Brailing house, the marionette was talking to Brailing and he said that marionetts has feelings and he asked "Why you bought me? Because you want to be far of your wife?. Brailing didn't answer but he told Brailing2 to enter to the box whare he was guarded, but he didn't obey him and told Brailing he was going to buy a ticket to Rio and travel with his wife. Brailing was very frightened but when he was about to say something, the other Brailing closed the door of the cellar and left the man inside.

i think it was unethical when the boys lied their wifes. it was disonest.

Yes, I think is great because the book is about a marionettes and the inc is like if where  a lot of marionets! just like monsters inc that were a lot of monsters, but here is with marionetes

Review: "The Black Cat"

It is a story written by Edgar Allan Poe, I think it is very violent. It's about a man, a mean drunk, that started drinking, alot. I enjoyed it a lot but sometimes I was afraid. This man took very bad decisions. After all people who like mystery should like ir, so I really recommend it!!

It was a day like every broing day, my husband was grabbing the cat with his hand, I was ashamed, I feel that he has become mad and wild with everyone. Suddenly he started shouting and took out Pluto's eye. I didn't know what to do, I was very frightened...

Esto es la realidad

   Para mi este texto tiene toda la razón, depende de nosotros el futuro y que importe el pasado. "Todos respiramos el mismo aire", me encanta esta frase. Esto quiere decir que es un recurso que necesitamos y si todos respiramos lo mismo, porque no lo cuidamos como lo cuidan los indígenas. Cada uno necesita del otro. Como hablan del aire por ejemplo. También hablan sobre el ecosistema y el equilibrio ambiental y la acción del hombre, donde ocurre el impacto ambiental, asi el medio ambiente va a tratar de restablecer el equilibrio.   Me encanta como el Jefe Seattle aprecia, cuida todo lo que tiene, ya que es un hombre que tiene muy poco. Quisiera que todos apreciemos los recursos que nos da la tierra y que al mismo tiempo nosotros le respondamos con una buena recompensa.
